Richard Bland Competes In Florida At NJCAA District 4 Preview

MELBOURNE, Fla. -- Richard Bland College sophomore men's golf standout Frankie Lin/Kaohsiung City, Taiwan posted a 54-hole score of 77-77-79--233 to finish in a tie for 19th place individually at the NJCAA District 4 Preview Monday and Tuesday at the 7,032-yard, par 72 Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, Florida.  The Statesmen competed with three individuals at the eight-team, 50-player event.

Lin was followed by freshmen twins Matthew Hemstock/Midlothian (85-81-82--248, 36th) and Alexander Hemstock/Midlothian (84-83-84--251, T-38th).

Eastern Florida State College won the tournament with its 291-289-293--873, while Brandon Lacasse of Wallace State (Ala.) Community College was the individual medalist with his 73-70-70--213.
