Castillo Nets 3 in Conference Win

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College of William and Mary Men's Soccer team moves to 5-2 in conference play and 5-2-1 overall after their eighth game of the 2021 season.

The men's soccer team hosted Denmark Technical College this afternoon for a conference matchup.

Nelsar Castillo started off the scoring for the Statesmen in the 9^th minute off a pass from Julian Rivera. Minutes later, Castillo found the back of the net again off a Nolan Wyss pass. In the 24^th minute, Moses Mora added his own tally from teammate Andrew Retmier. Castillo once again found the back of the net for his third tally off the day from Andrew Retmier, to round out the first half.

In the 70^th minute, Denmark Tech added a tally of their own. The Statesmen finished the game with a 4-1 win.

Zachary Degrauwe was credited with 2 saves on the day.
