SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College of William and Mary Men's Soccer team moves to 7-3-1 overall and 7-3 in conference play after their eleventh game of the 2021 season.
The men's soccer team traveled USC Lancaster for their third game in the last three days.
Lancaster was the first to score in the 35th minute to take 1-0 lead through the first half. In the 80th minute, Michael Afful added a tally to put the game even, 1-1, and would stay that way through regulation.
It was in the second overtime period that Lancaster found the back of the net and sealed the 2-1 double overtime win.
Cristian Rodriguez was credited with 6 saves on the day.
