Statesmen Fall to Lancers in Regulation

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College of William and Mary Men's Soccer team moves to 7-4-1 overall and 7-4 in conference play after their twelfth game of the 2021 season.

The men's soccer team hosted USC Lancaster for a conference matchup this afternoon.

The score was held even until the 80th minute when USC Lancaster struck one past Cristian Rodriguez. That marker would turn into the game winning goal for the Lancers.

Cristian Rodriguez was credited with 5 saves on the day. Moses Mora and Nelsar Castillo were credited with 3 shots on goal each, and Julian Rivera 2.

Richard Bland men's soccer next hosts USC Sumter, Sunday October 24th at 1pm, for their final game before the Region X Tourney begins.
