SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College men's soccer team moves to 5-1 overall, 4-1 in conference play after falling to Spartanburg Methodist College Tuesday afternoon, 0-2.

 

The game remained even until the 81st minute when the Pioneers put one past the Statesmen keeper. Two minutes later, the Pioneers struck for a second and final time to defeat Richard Bland 2-0. The Statesmen were credited with 16 shots and eight on frame.

 

Adrian Rios earned the start in net. He was credited with seven saves in 70 minutes before Mason Dycus took over for the last 20 minutes.

 

The Richard Bland men's soccer team next hosts Denmark Technical College on Saturday, September 16th at 1pm.
