SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College men's soccer team moves to 8-1-2 overall, 6-1-2 in conference play after hosting USC Sumter in a conference contest Friday afternoon.
Through 90 minutes of play, the Statesmen and Fire Ants struggled to place the perfect ball in the back of the net and the afternoon ended in a 0-0 draw. The Statesmen had 11 shots on goal and five corner kicks on the day. Thomas Seymour earned the start in net and was credited with nine saves in 90 minutes of play.
The Richard Bland men's soccer team is back in action on the road on Sunday, October 1st at Harford Community College. Kickoff is set for 2pm.
