SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College men's soccer team moves to 8-2-3 overall, 6-2-2 in conference play after traveling to USC Lancaster for a conference contest Friday afternoon.
The score remained even through the first 45 minutes of play. In the 48th minute, the Lancers got on the board to take a 1-0 lead. Less than 10 minutes later, the Lancers struck again taking the lead to two. The Statesmen would fall short, 0-2 to the Lancers.
Adrian Rios earned the start between the pipes and was credited with five saves in 90 minutes of play. Richard Bland had 18 shots on the day, 10 on goal.
The Richard Bland men's soccer team next hosts USC Union on Sunday, October 8th in a 12pm contest.
