Chip Amen begins his 1st season on the RBC coaching staff as an Assistant Coach for the 2022-23 school year.

Amen brings in a wealth of knowledge and experience to the men's soccer program. He has led the Hopewell High School boys varsity soccer program since 2021. Before taking over the boys varsity team, Amen was the boys varsity assistant coach in 2020, and a girls varsity assistant in 2019. Prior to working with Hopewell School District, Amen worked with the Richmond Strikers Recreational Soccer Club from 2017-2019.

Amen was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps team from 2003-2005, after competing with the Lutheran High School South team from 1995-1999. In addition to holding the US Soccer 9v9 and US Soccer 11v11 coaching licenses, Amen is currently taking the US Soccer D license coaching course.
