WASHINGTON FINISHES WITH NINTH FASTEST TIME AT PENN RELAYS IN 100 METERS

PHILADELPHIA, PA, April 25, 2014-Joshua Washington was nervous but showed great effort against the nation's best runners at Penn Relays. Head Coach Matt High said, "Through tough weather conditions, the entire field of runners were slow as were the times, due to the rain". "Josh was nervous like I've never seemed him before, but he ran well despite the weather", added High.

Coach High and Joshua will return to Petersburg to train for the NJCAA national meet in Mesa, Arizona along with Maxwell Chambers and Adrain Jackson.

Richard Bland will compete in an invite only twilight meet at the University of Maryland, where all three qualifiers will tune up against schools such as Penn State University, Maryland and Georgetown. This event will be held on May 2, 2014 at 6:00 pm, in College Park, MD.
