Johnson, Hamilton Highlight Rutgers Holiday Classic with First and Third Place Finishes

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland men and women indoor track and field teams traveled to New York, NY Friday afternoon for the Rutgers Holiday Classic hosted by Rutgers, at the Armory Track and Field Center.

4x400 Relay: Barnett, Jones, Richardson-Keys, and Kynard – 5^th place finish – 3:27.67

Haniyyah Johnson: 60 Meters 6^th place – 7.75, Long Jump 1^st place – 19'6.75

Jayla Werts: 60 Meters 24^th place – 8.20, 300 Meters 10^th place – 41.40

Next up for the Richard Bland track and field team is the VCU Rams Indoor Invitational on Sunday, January 7^th. The event will be hosted by Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.
