Fleming Commits to William Peace University

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – Emma Fleming, a member of the Richard Bland College 9th year softball team, has committed to continue her academic and athletic career at NCAA Division III William Peace University, beginning fall 2023.

 

The Sussex, VA native has contributed to much success for the ninth year program. In her rookie campaign, Fleming started in 23 of 30 games played, including 96 plate appearances for a .354 batting average. She scored 28 runs herself. Out of her 34 hits, Fleming had 10 doubles and 14 rbi. She was also walked eight times. Fleming was credited with 11 stolen bases, 35 putouts, and 63 assists for a .867 fielding percentage. In year two, prior to the beginning of the Region 10 Tournament, Fleming has played in 34 games, including 132 at bats for a .3886 batting average. She has scored 39 times herself. Out of her 51 hits, Fleming has six doubles and three triples for 22 rbi. She has been walked four times. Up to this point, Fleming has 21 stolen bases, 46 putouts, and 69 assists for a .816 fielding percentage.

 

William Peace is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III and USA South Athletic Conference, located in Raleigh, North Carolina.
