Nicolski Signs With Virginia Union University
SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – Jenna Nicolski, a member of the Richard Bland College softball team, has signed to continue her academic and athletic career at NCAA Division II, Virginia Union University, after just one season with Richard Bland.
The Suffolk, VA native has contributed to much success for the ninth year program. In her rookie campaign, Nicolski played in 35 games. In 100 at bats, she recorded 33 hits for a .330 batting average, and was walked three times. Within those hits, she managed four doubles and nine home runs. She touched 64 total bags, scored 18 times herself, and had 31 rbi. In the field, she had 50 total catches, 16 putouts, 23 assists, and one double play to garner a .780 fielding percentage.
Nicolski was named 2nd Team All-Region as a designated player for the 2023 season.
Virginia Union University is a Division II member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (CIAA).
