Richard Bland Finishes Third At Region X Fall Championships

DUNCAN, S.C. -- Richard Bland posted a 36-hole team score of 474-420--894 to finish third among three teams at the NJCAA Region X Women's Golf Fall Championships November 5-6 at the River Falls Plantation golf course in Duncan, South Carolina. Sophomore Anna Carole Cole/Halifax led the Statesmen with her two-day score of 96-93--189 to finish seventh among 13 golfers at the par 72, 5,811-yard layout. Spartanburg Methodist (S.C.) College won the event with its 341-326--667.

Cole was followed by freshman Kenedi Byard/Chesterfield (117-100—217, 10th), along with sophomores Savannah Porter/Midlothian (111-110—221, t-11th) and Taylor Pope/Disputanta (150-117—267, 13th).

Richard Bland completed its fall portion of the 2016-17 schedule at the Region X Fall Championships in South Carolina.
