SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College of William and Mary Women's Soccer team moves to 3-6 overall, and 3-4 in conference play after a conference matchup with USC Lancaster this afternoon.

 

The game was held even through 88 minutes of play. In the 88th minute, the Statesmen earned a free kick 40 yards out from Lancaster's goal. Gabriella Sylstra took advantage of the Lancer's foul and drilled the ball to the back of the net to seal the win for the Statesmen.

 

Tiffany Hargett was credited with 17 saves in the shutout win.

 

Richard Bland women's soccer next hosts Louisburg College, Wednesday October 20th at 3pm for a nonconference match.
