SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College women's soccer team moves to 0-1 overall and in conference play after dropping their season opener to the Eagles of Wake Technical Community College, Friday afternoon.
The Eagles got started early in the 10th minute, and would not look back in a 9-0 victory over the Statesmen. Angelina Finnerty and Alicia Powers had the two shots on goal for the Statesmen. Rachel Fields was credited with 20 saves between the pipes in the loss.
The Richard Bland women's soccer team next travels to Louisburg College on Sunday, September 10th for a 1pm conference contest.
