SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College women's soccer team moves to 0-7-1 overall, 0-4 in conference play after hosting Harford Community College in a non-conference contest Friday afternoon.
The score remained even through 32 minutes of play against the Fighting Owls. In the 33rd minute, Harford got on the board and wouldn't look back. The score increased to 2-0 Harford through the first 45 minutes of play. Harford notched six in the second half to take home an 8-0 victory.
Rachel Fields made 24 saves on the day for Richard Bland, while Angelina Finnerty had the lone shot on goal.
The Richard Bland women's soccer team next hosts Wake Technical Community College on Tuesday, October 3rd for their second meeting of the season. Kickoff is set for 1:30pm.
