SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The #9 Richard Bland College women's volleyball team moves to 15-3 overall after hosting the Trojans of Fayetteville Technical Community College Friday evening.

 

The Statesmen earned a three set sweep with scores of; 25-22, 25-16, and 25-16. Sarah Heath and Dryden Rancourt led the attack with 16 and 13 kills respectively. Heath also tallied seven digs and six service aces, while Rancourt added four digs and two service aces. Alexis Scipione was credited with 35 assists, seven digs, and two service aces in the win. Leilani Goggin added six kills and two blocks for Richard Bland.  

 

The Richard Bland women's volleyball team next travels to Louisburg College on Saturday, September 23rd for the Louisburg Tri-Match. The Statesmen will take on Cleveland Community College at 12pm and Southwest Virginia Community College at 2pm.
